in the heart of New York's Catskill State Park.
We are all about meaning, magic, and organic connection. Every wedding we host feels deeply personal, beautifully natural, and unmistakably yours.
When you're here, you feel like you belong -- you can relax, soak it all in, and be wholly yourself. We value time and togetherness, and dedicate ourselves completely to supporting you throughout your experience. That is why we only do a handful of weddings each year.

We provide the canvas, you paint it. There is no wedding factory here; we pride ourselves on creating events as unique as you are. Imagine sharing your vows in the woods, on a great rock with the peaks of Windham Mountain as your backdrop, or under the old-vine apple tree next to our stream-fed pond. Toast under the beams of sunlight streaming through the cracks in the oldest barn in the Catskills, a farm to table feast before you. Dance barefoot on antique rugs and, at the end of the night, traipse home through the lawn, past the bonfire, with your nearest and dearest still surrounding you. At the end of your weekend, we'll plant a tree with you, in your honor. You'll always remember your wedding day, and we'll always remember you.

Set Down Roots
Every couple that gets married at Adena joins our family by planting a tree in our orchard. Join our community and set down roots in the heart of the Catskill Mountains.

It's us! The owners of Adena Orchard, after our wedding here -- long before we ever dreamed of owning and operating it. We love caring for our tree as it grows into a lovely fruit-bearing organism all its own. Each year we make apple butter from the fruits of the orchard and share it with neighbors, family, friends.... and you!
Alana and Kevin
The oldest tree in our orchard belongs to the couple that started it all, Alana and Kevin Kulesa, the prior stewards of Adena. This apple tree sits tucked just behind the Great Rock and the Tower Mountain House.

To get to Adena Orchard, you travel through the wineries and cideries of the Hudson Valley, up the Catskill mountains, past lakes and the highest waterfall in New York, through the towns of Windham, Hunter, and Tannersville, speckled with quaint shops, restaurants and B&B’s. Enjoy your journey.
